Please join us at the new International Headquarters for the first ATA Olympic training workshop.

After 2 years of working with USA Taekwondo (USAT), which is the national governing body of Taekwondo for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), the USAT has complete authority over all decisions regarding US national junior and senior team selections for World Taekwondo Federation events, including the Summer Olympic Games Taekwondo competition events.

As our organization has grown and our tournaments have become worldwide, the USAT has been to the ATA’s last six national events. It is their belief, and ours, that the ATA has some of the best taekwondo athletes in the world. ATA was given the privilege to choose 128 of our champions (64 men & 64 women) without having to earn any points in their circuit to qualify to compete in their US Open Championship. Winning this Championship can lead to a place on the USA Olympic Taekwondo Team. It is one of ATA’s dreams to have one of our members become a medalist in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 and the Los Angeles Olympics 2024.

Join us April 14 – 15, 2017 at ATA International Headquarters and learn what this entails, how you can add this program to your school, and how to prepare your students for the chance of a lifetime: To be an Olympic Champion.

This first Workshop will be on Competitive Rules to increase your understanding of this type of competitions. Instructors who will teach the course are from the US Olympic Center in Colorado Spring, CO. Space is limited to 25 Instructors and the cost is $500 per person. ATA has been working towards this for over 50 years. Join us for this once in an lifetime opportunity.
