PRESS RELEASE
ATA International Announces New Plaque for Gate and Garden
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (August 11, 2020) – ATA International is proud to announce that there will be a new plaque added to the H.U. Lee Gate and Garden, to express appreciation to the Founders Council for their historic and ongoing contributions to the organization.
The Founders Council consists of Grand Masters Emeritus Soon Ho Lee and In Ho Lee, and Grand Masters Richard Reed (deceased), Robert Allemier, William Clark, G.K. Lee and M.K. Lee. The Chair of the ATA Board of Directors, Mrs. Sun C. Lee, added “This group embodies a long legacy of vision and wisdom handed down from Eternal Grand Master H.U. Lee. We are proud to display a permanent reminder of their life-long commitment, inspiration, and guidance.”
ATA plans an unveiling ceremony for the plaque at the next major event to be held in Little Rock, tentatively scheduled for 2021.
In addition, ATA would like to apologize for omitting Grand Master Richard Reed and Presiding Grand Master G.K. Lee from a paragraph listing member of the Founders Council, in a recent press release (07/23/2020) announcing changes to the Masters Council.
