Expansion to ATA International’s Ethics Committee
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (July 22, 2020) – ATA International announced today the appointment of three new members to the company’s Ethics Committee and the expansion of the Committee’s mission, with immediate effect.
The Ethics Committee’s mission is expanded as follows: “in addition to reviewing ethical matters, the Committee will address issues related to diversity, inclusion and representation.” The Committee will also address rank testing and seniority issues where unbiased perspective is needed. Examples include requests for a change of royalty or training instructor or disputes over school license ownership. The Committee will not address legal issues, background check issues, or incidents that relate to compliance with the ATA License Agreement. Those matters will be handled strictly by ATA International.
Joining the committee are Chief Master Fernando Jaime, Chief Master Rick Whitehead, and Chief Master Izel Rivera. These appointments bring the Ethics Committee total membership to 7.
The Ethics Committee members are: Chief Master William Wacholz, Chief Master Patti Barnum, Chief Master Fernando Jaime, Chief Master Rick Whitehead, Chief Master Izel Rivera, Sr. Master Jordan Schreiber, and Master Kelly Trautwein.
